Baby Shower Medleys

Break the baby shower participants into a few teams and have each team take twenty or so minutes to create a personalized poem for the parent’s to be. Have everyone sign the poems that they worked on and place in a keepsake box or album and give as a baby shower gift.

Baby Shower Idol
Materials: Karaoke machine, microphones
Bring some fun to the baby shower by having a sing-off. Give out baby shower prizes for the most original, funniest, best sung, most tone-def, and anything else you dream of. You will have a memorable time in this baby shower singing friendly competition!

Mommy ESP

See how well you can read the mommy-to-be’s mind. Have everyone write on a piece of paper the first 10 baby shower items or baby items they think of (examples: pacifier, diaper, bath, rattle, baby food, breast pump, onesies). Have the mommy to be read her list of 10 after everyone finishes in order. See how many the baby shower guests have in common and how close to the order of the mommy-to-be. Lots of Baby Shower Games

Baby Shower Word Scramble - (Materials: Printout and pens) – This baby shower game favorite is easy to play at any shower. It is an easy and fast baby shower game to play. Limit the time to only 3 minutes which will place some time pressure to see how many words your baby shower guests can descramble.

B
aby Shower Guess The Present – (Materials: Paper, Tape, Pens) – A fun game for everyone at the baby shower to participate in. Have each of the baby shower gifts numbered. At lunch time, have the mommy-to-be open her baby shower gifts and let everyone with a paper and pen guess what is in each gift before it is opened (other than their own gift). It is fun to see how many people get it right by the size of boxes, sounds the present makes prior to opening, etc. An easy baby shower game to play anywhere.

Feed the Piggy – (Materials: coins, piggy bank, stopwatch) - Get $15-20 worth of coins and hide them around the room for a hide and seek type of baby shower game. The guest who finds the most (by weight) wins a special prize and the coins go into a piggy bank for the newborn child. The twist is that the guests can "cheat". Meaning they may add to their pile with whatever coinage they have on hand (purse, pocket, car etc.) That part is optional but no one is left out.

Baby Shower Thank You Card Draw – (Materials: Thank you cards and envelopes, pens, bag) - . Once the baby shower attendees arrive, give them each an envelope (that goes with the baby shower thank you cards you purchased) and have them write their name and address on it. Put them is whatever you would like and draw an envelope for a baby shower prize. Now momma to be has all the name and addresses and can send out Thank you cards more easily!

Baby Shower Story Time – (Materials: baby shower favors or baby shower gifts) – During the baby shower, give the mommy-to-be some baby shower favors or gift items (unwrapped) and let her know that she will have to start becoming a good story teller for her new bundle of joy. Have her make up a story to the group, using the favors or gifts in the story. This would be for a mommy-to-be that does not get easily embarrassed but really fun to play. Maybe have others who are willing, join in and create the baby shower story.

Baby Shower Storybook – (Materials: pens, pencils, scissors, markers, stapler, tape, glue, stickers) – A fun baby shower game and project is to have all the baby shower guests pitch in and create a story book. Each can create a page of the story as they all work together in first writing a simple fun story that can be personalized. Have some great creative group members illustrate the story and have everyone else color in the book. You can also take pictures of everyone at the baby shower and glue it on the last page as a great memory for the parents-to-be. An original baby shower game and project from baby shower 101.

The Fairy Virtues

Materials: Index cards and pens

Based on the "Sleeping beauty" activity, you tell that each guest is a fairy and that we will all grand one virtue to the baby. Print some cards where it has the name of the virtue, and leave a space so the person can write their own name and next to it, and the definition of the virtue. Each guest will pick one, write their name and in the back of it, they would write something personal to the baby/mom/family related to the virtue they picked. This can be placed in a baby shower photo memory album where the mommy-to-be can also take pictures next to each baby shower guest.

The Liars Club

Materials: unique baby shower gift small items, index cards, pens

Nowadays there are a lot of new and innovative gadgets for kids and even new moms cannot know all the stuff out there. Go to any baby shower store and you can find unique baby shower gifts. In this game follow the instructions below:

Step 1: You pick 4 - 8 different unique baby objects (fabric sling, ball holding cheerios, the thing to put fruit so the baby can suck through the holes, the medicine dispenser syringe, the "roll in the forehead" thermometer, anything weird looking stuff)
Step 2: You (previous) to the shower, select three baby shower guests to present the products to the other guests, they would prepare what they're going to say (you can give them a short script). Two would lie and one would say the truth for each product of what it actually does.
Step 3: You had given in advance a sheet to the guessers so they can write down who they think it's telling the truth for each product (it can be done by table)
Whoever gets the more right answers wins.

Pregnancy Art Prints

Materials – Art Bellies Kit, newspaper or floor covering, paint, canvas
A very cute baby shower game that also makes a great baby shower gift is to paint the mommy’s tummy silhouette. The easiest and best way to do this is to purchase an Art Bellies Kit or you can make your own with canvass, paints and the mommy to be. You will have a great time and give a memorable gift that everyone can help create!F

Fertilized Egg Hunt
Materials: Plastic Easter eggs, tiny plastic baby, other small little fun gifts that would fit in the Easter Eggs
Lay Easter eggs around the baby shower venue and have one or a few of the eggs filled with tiny plastic babies and the rest of the eggs filled with other items. Have the baby shower guests each find one egg and whoever finds the egg(s) with the baby inside wins. This would be especially fun if there were children involved at the baby shower.

Baby Shower Depends

Materials: Depends, Markers
Split the baby shower guest into teams. Give each team a marker and an adult depend diaper. Say that the baby to be needs to look its best and that each team must come up with a design on the depend diaper that they think would look great on the baby. Give them a time limit of 5 min. When time is called, have each team choose one member to show it off and have them stand up. Have each baby shower team choose a member that will present it fashion show style. Have them put the depend on and strut down the cat walk and back and have the mommy to be (and daddy to be if he is there) judge for the winner (If not comfortable in wearing the depend, they can hold it up and discuss the fashion statement). You can even play music as each baby shower participant walks down.
